| So, I've just returned from Puerto Rico where I studied with some very, very cool conqueros as well as drummers, none that you would know, only to be informed that I am off to Italy for the next 3 weeks. Which is not really a bad thing but, I must admit I miss the family when I'm away as much as I am but that is part and parcel of this business unfortunately so we deal! Other than that just trying to continually hone my performance skills and not be too worried about who's going to be running the country for the next 4 years...anyone except ol fuckin' "W" that ****. | I am a forming a Neo-Soul/World/Jazz/Funk ensemble We will be forming within the next two months, I am looking for a horn section, Vocalist (s), Guitarist,Keyboards, percussionist and A DJ. Looking for open minds,hearts and souls. Music is interpretive, NOT FREE, and therefore requires a certain expertise. I am currently accepting demos and resume before setting up auditions Management is in the wings with an eye to booking festivals and outdoor events. Umbria, Playboy, Aspen Snowmass, and opening for larger "name" acts. The music will be loosely based on some jazz covers as well as new music written by members.
