Dan was born in Queens,NY and has been playing the drums since the age of seven, professionally since the age of 13.
More Later....My playing style is unique, I've borrowed from many, many differing styles of drumming, certain techniques which I could tell you about but then I would have to kill you. Ah..I love that one!! Seriously, my playing would remind you of the great, great drummer Jack DeJohnette, it wouldn't sound anything like Elvin, cuz...well that's Elvin. I don't believe in emulating other players' styles, I do however believe in using others' ideas combined with my creativity. Man I could play you some **** that would make your head spin. Could I use it on a wedding date absolutely not...again..HA!! But my playing is definitely a throw back to the days of R&B drumming meets today's hip-hop, along with fusion of the 70's, but definitely, without a doubt pretty damn contemporary. Oh yes and polyrhythmic where I can fit it in,,,get it?? Poly-rhythms-- fit it in??? Sub divisions...ah never mind!!! I can also play straight four....gheez if I absolutely have to .....what's that it's a paying gig, whatever you want all night long baby!!! And I'm Spent..... Peace... VICTORY IS MINE!!!!
